We were not disappointed in any way as Shannon provided great music and kept in contact with myself and/or my daughters regarding the music throughout the night. Great Fundraiser
I just wanted to thank you for your music and for helping us with our auction on saturday night. We had such a good time and got lots of feedback from the girls about how much they enjoyed the night, particularly the music you played, and your part in the auction. It was fantastic to raise so much money for our research fund, with such crap prizes! so thank you for your help with that.

I hope your wedding went well on Saturday at the Melbourne Rowing Club - we had a fabulous night at Yarra Yarra and Jackie was great, he had most of our guests on the dancefloor all night. Can you pass on our thanks to Jackie. And in particular, he made a great call to play the Zorba two times in a row as the crowd could not get enough of it.

This is just a quick e-mail to thank you for the great job Shannon did at my daughter's wedding. Shannon kept the music flowing and entertaining. The Bollywood dancers were very happy with the way she timed their entrance. The bridal Waltz CD was a spliced CD, and the general music was a mixture of two different cultures, so this night was a challenge - not to mention the late delivery of some of the music. However your marvellous DJ handled it all beautifully - from the Aussie girls doing Nutbush, to the Pashtu male guests doing a traditional dance of honour at the end, the Bollywood segment in the middle, and one drunken male guest disgracing himself (I think some of the elders took him away and apologised to Shannon). I know Ballara management was also impressed with Shannon as they said to me how professional she had been. So, thank you once again.

Meant to email you sooner- thanks for a great night last week – I know it was a probably a little more disorganised and different to what you were used to, but we were really happy with it. For us, seeing some of the young people get up and have a sing was the highlight of the year- some of these kids go bright red from embarrassment if you just say hello to them, so it was an awesome sight to see them singing. I just wanted to let you know (in a private capacity) that I was most impressed with the DJ at our office Christmas party yesterday. He helped to make the whole event so much fun and played a great selection of music. By coincidence Shannon did my wedding at Ballara last month (with the Bollywood dancers) and we were most impressed with her. I believe that my mother sent an email to that effect..On the two occasions that Dolly have done functions I attended, I have the utmost praise for their professionalism and I would completely recommend them for any function and would definately use them again. It has been a delight to have you.

His rendition of Tina Turner " Simply the best" was great, and that he got my elderly dad to sing "I did it my way' will be a life long memory to me and my family. Dolly, after engaging your services several times over the years for various functions and Christmas parties, there was never any question about who I wanted as my wedding DJ. We were always confident that you would do an excellent job for us. However! Since our wedding almost every single guest has commented on how terrific the music was and how wonderful and perfect you were as our MC. As we had guests ranging in age from 18 to 78, this is quite an accomplishment! Your sense of humour and ability to command the attention of the room without overpowering the occasion is a real gift, as is your dry delivery and charisma which several of our guests were particularly enamored of! The way you guided us through what we needed to do and made everything so easy for us was great. A wedding or party always comes down to the music – and ours absolutely rocked, all because of you! Hi Dolly, Chris and I wanted to send you a great big THANK YOU for doing such a wonderful job at our New Years Eve Wedding! We told you to run with what ever worked on the night and do what you thought would get the crowd going and that’s exactly what you did. You had everyone from my 16 year old cousin to Chris’s 81 year old uncle up dancing. You even managed to get Chris’s brother up who doesn’t dance!
We met 2004-2005 new years eve at a Karoke bar in Melbourne so what would a new years eve wedding be without Karaoke! While I wasn’t planning to get up and sing I was looking forward to hearing my new husband belt out a few tunes. Half way through the night Chris came to drag me up to sing a duet “summer lovin” (a song we both love but neither of us picked…Dolly???). I was extremely lucky that I had already had a few drinks and at that moment had lost all inhibitions and it didn’t matter that I was tone deaf, couldn’t sing and everyone would be watching me because I was the bride. Then to my surprise when I was singing I thought to myself “gosh I sound good” and was able to enjoy the moment with my new husband. I had everyone coming up saying how great we sounded together. Now I don’t know what you did or how you did it but for that one song which is now officially ‘our wedding song’ I sounded great! I know you had something to do with it because there was no way I would have been able to pull that off without some assistance….THANK YOU!!!
You are truly amazing at what you do and so pleased we found you! Thank you from both of us for making our new years eve wedding a memorable one.
